Visual Effects Unlimited was founded in March of 2001. Our Principal activities are the installation and marketing of Light Emitting Diodes (LED's) show and safety lighting products that serve the motorcycle, car, truck, RV and recreational boating industry.

We use revolutionary bright omni-directional and directional LED’s
to create Visual Effects. We utilize LED’s for engine accenting, engine compartment lighting, under running boards for ground effects, side marker lighting and public safety lighting for parades and escorts.

First in the industry to develop and offer a high-end,  totally custom tailored connectorized wiring harness system. Every LED product utilized in our installations simply plugs into our wiring harness system. Every LED fixture including the environmentally sealed push-button switch have polarized positive locking plugs. The wiring harness systems have polarized locking receptacles to accept our LED fixtures.

Our Connectorized LED's simplify maintenance on any vehicle.  When we attach an LED fixture to the underside of a fuel tank, oil reservoir, air breather, horn, saddle bags, frame etc. the LED fixture remains intact with that unit. However, the LED fixture will simply unplug from the wiring harness system. Therefore...no wires are cut or LED fixtures dismounted when typical maintenance to any vehicle is required.

Installers as well as our customers all over have praised Visual Effects Unlimited, Inc. for the foresight, innovation and the development  of a truly Premier modular connectorized wiring harness system.  Visual Effects Unlimited, Inc. is still the leader in this industry.  While others are making claim to have similar systems, they may not possess the technical knowledge or training required to install LED lights without voiding vehicle warranties. Our installers as well as Authorized Dealer / Installers undergo extensive training to install our premier LED lighting systems. Every Installer is Certified by Visual Effects Unlimited, Inc. to be knowledgeable in the installation of our premier lighting systems.

Nationwide Network - We are now expanding our premier lighting systems through a nationwide network of Authorized Dealer / Installers.  If your interested in becoming an Authorized Dealer / Installer, follow this link for more information: Dealer Program.
Once again, others are claiming to have a warranty program similar to ours. Ask them for a warranty card and how can you get service should the need arise. Every Visual Effects Unlimited, Inc. LED Premier show lighting installation comes with our lifetime warranty. See Warranty for more details.

We now have expanded our product line to include motorcycle accessories for Harley-Davidson, Honda, Yamaha and others. Click Here for "Products Online".

Selecting an Accent Lighting Installer.  We advise caution when selecting an Accent Lighting installer.  Not all aftermarket installation companies are the same. There are good and  bad aftermarket lighting installers as well as knock-offs of our systems.
If it's not a Certified Visual Effects Unlimited, Inc. installation, you may find what you paid for it not what you truly wanted.  Shop around and ask the following questions;

  1. What are the installers qualifications.

  • How much experience does the installer have with aftermarket lighting.

  • How long has the installer been in the aftermarket lighting business.

  • How is the installer and the companies installers qualified to work on your vehicle.

  • What certifications does the installer or his installers possess if any.

  1. Lighting products and installation.

  • Is the wiring a connectorized harness system, or is the wiring home run from each light fixture without the ability to simply unplug the light fixture at the source.

  • Is their aftermarket show lighting upgradeable to accommodate additional lighting without having to cut, reterminate, unsolder or shrink wrap their wiring.

  • Where and how will the switch be mounted for their accent lighting.

  • What methods are used to install the light fixtures.

  1. Warranty of installation and materials.

  • How long is the warranty good for.

  • Is it a  "Limited"  warranty (see our warranty).

  • Should you require warranty work, how will you get it and where.

  • There are many aftermarket lighting dealers that sell lighting products to independent installers. In some instances the lighting products are warranted by the manufacture or the  dealer. The installation of these products are warranted by the installer. Since the installer is an Independent, any warranty services typically would be performed by the original installer as independents do not normally warranty each others work.

  • Request your warranty in writing. We provide a durable plastic  warranty card that is accepted by all Authorized Visual Effects Unlimited, Inc. dealer/installers.

  1. Lighting Effects.

  • How many actual LED's would be installed (see our Lighting Packages).

  • You should inquire about the "Effect" that the lighting package will have like;

    • How much of the engine will be lit up.

    • Are the LED's directional and will they leave hot spots.

    • Will the actual LED's be seen after they are installed.
